About the UC Berkeley GPA Scale
The University of California, Berkeley uses the UC system-wide 4.0 GPA scale with plus/minus grades in 0.3-point increments. A+ and A both carry 4.0 grade points — there is no bonus for A+.
Students must maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA to remain in good academic standing. College of Letters & Science, Engineering, and Haas have higher unit and GPA requirements.
