About Student Toolbox

Student Toolbox is a free collection of calculators and guides for students — built to answer the questions that come up over and over again in school, college, and university.

What we make

We build small, focused tools that do one thing well. Right now that means:

  • GPA & grade tools — GPA converters, CGPA calculators, final grade and target GPA calculators, and school-specific calculators for UF, ASU and Purdue.
  • UK & US exam tools — GCSE grade calculator, A-Level grade calculator, UCAS Tariff calculator, and SAT score calculator.
  • PDF tools — merge, split, rotate, compress, watermark, add page numbers, and more. All 100% in your browser, no uploads.
  • Guides — clear, plain-English explainers on grading systems, GPA, exam results, and what to do when things don't go to plan.

Why we exist

Grading systems are confusing — different countries, different scales, different rules. Most students don't need a paid service or a course to understand their grades; they need a clear answer in 30 seconds. That's what we try to provide: accurate tools and honest guides, free, with no sign-up and no paywall.

How our tools work

Every calculator on Student Toolbox runs entirely in your browser. Your grades, marks, and files never leave your device — we don't see them, and we don't store them. This also means the tools work offline and load fast.

Accuracy

We put real effort into getting the numbers right, citing official sources (university catalogs, exam board guidance, College Board data) wherever possible. But grading policies change, and your institution may have its own rules — always confirm with your school or university for anything that matters.
