Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Extract and Split?
Extract creates a new PDF from the pages you select. Split divides a PDF into multiple files based on page ranges. Use Extract for specific pages, Split for ranges.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Select any combination of pages โ they'll appear in the output PDF in the order you selected them.
Does extracting pages reduce file size?
It depends. If the extracted pages contained large images, the new file will be smaller. But pdf-lib copies pages without recompression, so size is roughly proportional to pages selected.
