About the UQ GPA Scale

The University of Queensland uses a unique numbered 7-point GPA scale: 7 (HD, 85-100%), 6 (D, 75-84%), 5 (C, 65-74%), 4 (P, 50-64%), 3 (Fail, 40-49%), 2 (Fail, 20-39%), 1 (Low Fail, below 20%). Unlike Monash (HD at 80%), UQ follows the standard 85% HD threshold.

Unlike most Australian universities, UQ's scale does not use letter codes. All failing grades (1-3) are fully included in the GPA calculation, so they will significantly lower your GPA.
